The Best Edinburgh Hen Do Ideas

Edinburgh is a beautiful historic city with lots of things to do and see for hen parties.  We’ve compiled a top list of our top Edinburgh hen do ideas for a hen weekend to remember starting from day to night:

Sightseeing

There’s an abundance of sightseeing in Edinburgh.  Edinburgh Castle takes centre stage in the city centre, it’s a must visit if you haven’t been before but if you can’t face walking up there Princes Street makes a really good photo stop. Edinburgh Castle, Castlehill, Edinburgh, EH1 2NG.  The Edinburgh Dungeons make great entertainment for hen groups and are another good activity for the day.  Take a journey through Edinburgh’s darkest history and give your hen party a bit of a laugh and fright at the same time!

A Dance Class

If you’re looking for fun day time hen do activities in Edinburgh then a Scottish highland dance class is the ultimate activity. Malmaison has an afternoon tea available for hen parties, a brunch menu and also does cocktail masterclasses.  They advertise their rooms as hen party accommodation making it a ‘hen friendly’ one stop shop for all your needs.

Edinburgh Zoo

For a hen party activity a bit different why not take a trip to Edinburgh Zoo and visit their famous pandas.  This is another great idea for the daytime and it’s situated not too far from the city centre too.

It’s been a very exciting year for Sashay Dance and we have expanded our Hen Party Dance Packages so that we can deliver fun, friendly and funky dance classes across the UK!

We are now looking for more venues in the following locations to work with who can get back to us quickly with booking enquiries and ensure our hen parties have the time of their lives:

Our hen party dance classes mainly take place on a Saturday anytime between 11am-6pm and we are looking for venues to add to our database to contact to hire for these.  Here’s our requirements:

• In the city centre
• Private room
• Wooden/hard floor, no carpet
• A bar is a bonus as these hens can get thirsty!
• We also offer an upgrade to a cocktail masterclass therefore if you can cater for this too that’s great
• We need to confirm locations to customers within a week therefore look for reasonable response times to enquiries

If you’d like to bring more hen party bookings to your venue we also work with a number of venues where they offer our Sashay Dance Hen Parties to customers and work on a commission basis.  It’s time to offer something a bit different to your hen party customers.

The Sashay Dance Charts

We now have a whopping 20 groovy themes to choose from nationwide for your hen do dance class and many of our hens ask which are our most popular before deciding.  I’ve now compiled the Sashay Dance charts with the top 5 themes for 2022:
