Competition – Perform The Hen Party Routine at Your Wedding!

A lot of our hen party groups perform their hen party dance routine at the wedding which we think is an excellent idea. For those sitting on the fence line here’s some reasons why you should do the hen weekend dance routine at your wedding:

1. Firstly it will be lots of fun and a good laugh

2. You’ve already learned the routine fairly recently so you might as well show it off

3. Free entertainment for wedding guests

4. Create happy dancing memories on your special day

5. You could win the Sashay Dance Competition for best hen party dance and be in with a chance to win party dance class for up to 20 people (worth over £400). Simply send in the video of the Sashay Dance hen party dance class at a 2021 wedding to sarah@sashaydance.co.uk or via What’s App to 07801435665. The closing date is 31st December 2021.

It’s not too late to celebrate!

What a year it’s been and who’d have thought that it would have become illegal to celebrate birthdays, hen parties, weddings and special occasions in the normal way over the last year!  There’s very good news on the horizon following the announcement of the government roadmap and certainly in this country it looks like we will be able to have lots more fun this Summer.

There’s also all the missed special occasions too, a year of missed big birthdays, postponed weddings, team events and a country ready for some fun, making the most out of life after these testing times.  I’d like to remind you all that it’s never too late celebrate and make the most of it.

We deliver fun party dance classes all across the UK and our aim is to create happy dancing memories to last a lifetime.  Our classes are 2 left feet friendly, suitable for all and most importantly a lot of fun.  Whether it’s for a hen party, birthday, team celebration or just for fun, we’ll give you something to dance about with our 15 groovy themes to choose from.  Think anything from Charleston, Spice Girls, Dirty Dancing, Greatest Showman or we can even customise your own class.  We can either hire a venue in your celebration location or come to you, this year we’ve had an influx in bookings for home back garden dance classes and hen party cottage dance classes.  Wherever you are we really can’t wait to start dancing with you all again.  This can all start happening very soon too which is so exciting, from 17th May 2021 dance classes can finally take place again!

My heart goes out to everyone who’s been affected by this horrible virus and we look forward to bringing some joy to peoples lives again through the form of dance very soon.

For more information on our fun themed party dance classes visit the Sashay Dance homepage.

Keeeeeeeeeeep dancing!

Leeds Hen Party Night Ideas and Activities

The UK is looking to be a very busy hen party destination this year and next, with many choosing to avoid travelling overseas.  I feel very lucky to have travelled to the hen party destinations we cover and will share with you over the coming weeks our favourite UK hen party spots and the great range of activities you can do there.

Leeds is a vibrant modern city in West Yorkshire with plenty of things to do.  Here’s the top 5 things to do on a hen weekend in Leeds:

Shopping!

Leeds is a fabulous shopping destination!  The Trinity Centre is in Leeds city centre and has all your favourite high street and designer stores under one roof.  It’s a shoppers, eating and drinking paradise, check it out – Trinity Leeds, 27 Albion St, Leeds, LS1 5ER.  There’s also the new Victoria Gate shopping centre which is where you can find a super stylish casino and a huge John Lewis.

Dancing!

Here at Sashay Dance we cover the Leeds area and have a range of 15 dance class themes ranging from the Charleston, Salsa, Beyonce to Thriller, this is a lot of fun and will definitely make your hen party one to remember.  Join us for a fun hen party dance lesson in Leeds,!  All our classes are 2 left feet friendly, suitable for all and we can teach anyone to dance in just 1 lesson. PLUS, THE HEN GOES FREE!  A great idea for a hen weekend to remember.

Eating!

There’s something to suit everyone’s tastes here in Leeds.  Here are a few of my favourites, Chaophraya – a beautiful Thai Restaurant located near the train station and ideal for a special occasion, Tharavadu – the best Indian Restaurant in Leeds centre by far and booking well in advance essential and Livin Italy – located on Granary Wharf and a lovely authentic Italian restaurant with a great cocktail/wine menu too.   Malmaison Leeds has a beautiful private dining room perfect for Hen Parties wanting a bit of privacy and luxury!

Escaping!

The Great Escape Game Leeds have some thrilling escape games ideal for hens.  Why not see if you’ve got what it takes to escape!  Leeds is a fabulous destination for hen parties and I hope that this have given you some ideas of what you could do for your hen night in Leeds.  Why not visit our site if you’d like to find out more about our Hen Party Dance Classes in Leeds.

Drinking!

Leeds is home to so many fantastic bars, you are so spoilt for choice! I’d always recommend planning your routes in advance, booking space if needed or you can incorporate some bars earlier on in the day when it’s not too busy for larger groups.  For cocktails, here’s my top picks, Angelica’s – beautiful outdoor terrace ideal for afternoon drinks soaking up the sun, Sky Lounge Hilton – amazing view across the city of Leeds perfect after dark and The Botanist – beautiful garden inspired cocktails.
